Guest blogger-the FABULOUS Kelly Getzfread!!!

This blog is for our unit and I want the women who make up this unit to be a huge part of it. Today Kelly Getzfread is our guest blogger. She is my personal team member of mine and started her Mary Kay business last year and came in as a star consultant.  Models!!!!

 

Now is the time for us to SHINE, because we are STARS!!! …or will be by the end of this quarter!! 

 

Joining this company is one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.  Being around encouraging, strong, confident women opened my eyes and made me realize I have way more to offer this world than the small amount of energy I have been putting into it.  I am currently running my business at a slow pace, but I have decided it is time for a HUGE change!  It’s time to stop underestimating myself, being down in the dumps, making excuses and holding back.  God gave us all a gift; it’s called being you!   One of my favorite quotes is by Dr. Suess- “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”  You are the only one who can keep yourself from making your dreams come true, so go and show the world what you have to offer!!!  

 

I know I am not the only one who is guilty of letting the stress of life get in the way of their goals.  This is why people say you are your own worst enemy. Too often I find myself making excuses of why I can’t do things.  If you were at the meeting this week, there was a pretty clear message:  

 

“Declare War on Your Dream Stealers.”

 “Life is a Choice, You can Choose Success or Failure”

 

These are two powerful quotes that stood out most to me.   So here is my proposal…. Cut the “poo” out of your life!  Who will join me in this lovely adventure?  If you know of anyone or anything that is toxic to your life and happiness, get rid of it!  This will allow you to focus on the positive things in life, things that make you thrive, things that bring a smile to your face!  What more can you ask for?

 

What has Mary Kay done for me so far?  This company gave me the opportunity to share the opportunity, meet incredible people, make new friends, make money, make people smile, gave women confidence, gained more confidence in myself, learn new things and most importantly, gave me the satisfaction of knowing that the sky truly is the limit and there is nothing I can’t do.  One face at a time… you will see me at the top! Who plans on joining me up there?  Who wants to rock that red jacket and then a director’s suit?  Who wants to pull into the driveway of that person who said you couldn’t or wouldn’t earn you first, second third, or tenth car and lay on your horn shouting “ Heyyy, I told ya I was gonna get my car!” just like Gloria Mayfield Banks did?  Who wants to go on trips all over the world with some pretty awesome people?  I do, that’s for sure!  Why put off until tomorrow what you can do today?  This Friday will be my first stop on my fast track to Cadillac!  SWEET Retreat, here I come!
